The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on the 20th that Lee Eun-woo (photo, 63) has been appointed as the president of the Korea Policy Broadcasting Corporation (KTV). The new president's term will be two years starting from May 2024.

The Ministry explained that this appointment was made through an open recruitment process conducted by the Ministry of Personnel Management in accordance with relevant laws.
The new president joined Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) and has served as a PD at SBS TV Production Headquarters, Director of Television Bureau at Seoul Metropolitan Government Traffic Broadcasting Headquarters, Head of Programming and Production Headquarters at MBC Plus, and Director of Planning at MBC. He also served as the Head of Management Headquarters at MBC.
A Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism official stated, "The new president has over 30 years of experience as a broadcast production PD, combining field experience with media strategy planning skills, and is a professional broadcaster with experience operating various media platforms including terrestrial broadcasting and online video services (OTT)."
