Invitation of Kazakhstan Policy Finance Institutions
Introduction of Key Projects Including SME Policy and ESG
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (SBC) announced that from the 20th to the 25th, it will conduct a policy training program for employees of DAMU, Kazakhstan's policy finance institution for small and medium enterprises, held domestically.
This policy training is a follow-up measure to the memorandum of understanding signed between SBC and DAMU in December last year. The trainees consist of managers from DAMU's Policy Management Bureau, Strategic Analysis, and Program Finance Department.
The main topics include ▲support areas and methods of policy funds for strengthening the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises, and enterprise evaluation techniques ▲non-face-to-face and online support procedures that enhance accessibility and convenience for small and medium enterprises ▲fundraising and management methods for fund administration, and explanations of SBC's support strategies for small and medium enterprises.
In particular, additional introductions will be made on DAMU’s areas of interest among SBC’s projects, including ▲the newly launched Win-Win Growth Network to create a cooperative ecosystem among large, medium, and small enterprises ▲the accounts receivable factoring project to support early securitization of sales receivables ▲the Tomorrow Filling Deduction, a manpower support project for small enterprises.
Additionally, SBC will conduct a field tour by visiting the Global Startup Academy located in Guro, Seoul, introducing the startup academy’s education programs that nurture innovative young CEOs and the resident companies participating in the projects.
Kang Seok-jin, SBC Chairman, stated, “The government ministries and SBC have been striving to revitalize exports of small and medium enterprises by recently forming a one-team consultative body supporting small and medium enterprises at overseas diplomatic missions,” adding, “Through this policy training, we will promote Korea’s excellent small and medium enterprise policies overseas and continuously strengthen cooperation with local institutions to actively support the export of our small and medium enterprises.”
