Gyeonggi Tourism Organization Launches 'Metropolitan City Tour Bus' for 7 Western Region Tourist Spots Participating Areas of the Gyeonggi-do Western Region Metropolitan City Tour Bus

The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization will operate a metropolitan city tour bus connecting major tourist attractions in seven areas of western Gyeonggi, including Bucheon and Siheung, until November 30.

On the 20th, the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization announced that it will run the metropolitan city tour bus for the first time this year to provide opportunities to experience various cultural tourism resources in the western region of the province and to revitalize the local economy by attracting more domestic and international tourists.

The tour bus will operate in two ways: a regular route running every weekend and a planned route reflecting local government events and seasonal characteristics.

The regular routes include five courses: ▲West Coast Golden Drive One-Day Tour (Ansan~Hwaseong) ▲Healing One-Day Tour to Nature in the City (Gwangmyeong~Siheung) ▲Unique One-Day Tour in Western Gyeonggi (Pyeongtaek~Ansan) ▲Wellness One-Day Tour in the City (Gimpo~Bucheon) ▲Weekend Outing with Children (Gwangmyeong~Bucheon).

Additionally, the planned routes are operated irregularly in connection with seasonal attractions or major local government events and run regardless of the day of the week when there are 20 or more participants.

The daily fare varies by course, ranging from 15,000 to 35,000 KRW for adults. Boarding locations for the tour bus are Exit 1 of Yongsan Station (Exit 3 of Sinyongsan Station) or Exit 1 of Gwangmyeong Station. Reservations can be made on the Travel Workshop website (gcitytour.tour08.com).

A representative from the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization said, "Together with the Western Gyeonggi Cultural Tourism Council, we have developed a metropolitan city tour product that showcases the charm of the seven cities in the western region." He added, "We will do our best to operate it so that more tourists can enjoy traveling in western Gyeonggi comfortably and safely."
