The Muan County Council in Jeollanam-do (Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun) announced on the 17th that it concluded the 293rd extraordinary session, which was held over eight days from the 10th, with the end of the 2nd plenary session.
During this extraordinary session, a total of 18 agenda items were reviewed and resolved, including seven council member-initiated proposals such as the "Ordinance on Supporting Family Care Youth in Muan County," ten proposals submitted by the executive branch including the "Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on the Management of Shared Property in Muan County," and the approval of the administrative audit plan.

Additionally, during the 2nd plenary session's 5-minute free speech, Councilor Jeong Eun-kyung spoke about the "Muan County Population Policy" to address the issue of population decline caused by low birth rates and aging, while Councilor Kim Won-jung proposed "Exploring the Introduction of Profit-Sharing Renewable Energy to Respond to the Risk of Regional Extinction."
Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun expressed his gratitude, saying, "I would like to thank my fellow council members and related officials for their best efforts during this extraordinary session," and added, "In the 1st regular session of the 294th session to be held next month, we will thoroughly review the overall county administration through county government reports and administrative audits."
