Golf Membership Market, Differentiated Trend

The buying sentiment is shifting to a wait-and-see stance. According to Dong-A Membership Trading Center on the 18th, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide is 257.65 million KRW. This is a slight increase of 0.04% compared to last week. By price range, the ultra-high and high price tiers rose by 0.07% each. The mid-price tier fell by 0.06%, and the low-price tier showed no change. Dong-A Membership Trading Center stated, "Buyers preparing for the spring season have absorbed the high-priced listings and are now turning cautious. Sellers who only listed at peak prices are gradually lowering their asking prices." They added, "Differentiated market trends continue by category. There is intense mutual watchfulness. The atmosphere is about finding the right timing to sell and buy."


The average price in the central region is 292.23 million KRW, up 0.08% from last week. The 88 membership saw buying orders return, jumping 0.66%. Popular golf courses such as Giheung rose 0.71%, and New Korea increased by 1.03%. Ribera attracted buying interest after resolving the public conversion issue, jumping 2.13%. Songchu rose 1.33%, Hanyang 1.04%, and Hanseong increased by 1.52%. On the other hand, New Seoul fell 0.75% due to accumulated listings. Jeil also dropped 0.83% as buying interest turned cautious. Deputy General Manager Moon Jong-seong forecasted, "The central region membership market is expected to maintain a stable trend for the time being. Differentiation will occur by category."


The average price in the southern region is 168.13 million KRW, down 0.18% from last week. Yongwon fell 1.11% after all high-priced listings were exhausted. Dongbusan also dropped 1.67% as sellers lowered their asking prices. Dongnae Benest declined 1.08% following news of a green fee increase. Pamihills fell 0.51% amid intense mutual watchfulness. Only Daegu saw accumulated buying orders, rising 0.66%. Team Leader Lee Yoon-hee predicted, "The southern region membership market showed no significant fluctuations overall. It is expected to continue a slightly weak stable trend."
