BNK Kyongnam Bank announced on the 16th that it has signed a "Special Guarantee Business Agreement for the Namhaean Tourism Belt for Yeonghonam Mutual Prosperity" at the Hadong Munhwa Dabang.
The agreement includes BNK Kyongnam Bank, Gyeongnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, Jeonnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeongnam Branch, and NH Nonghyup Bank Jeonnam Regional Headquarters.
According to the agreement, each financial institution, including BNK Kyongnam Bank, will contribute 500 million KRW, totaling 22.5 billion KRW, to support small businesses and self-employed individuals in the Namhaean Tourism Belt area.

The eligible industries include accommodation, food service, souvenir and folk craft and decorative goods retail, chartered bus transportation, and exhibition, convention, and event agency businesses.
The support limit is up to 50 million KRW per business, and the repayment method is either a lump-sum repayment after one year or equal principal installment repayment over four years with a one-year grace period.
BNK Kyongnam Bank has made it possible for applicants to apply not only by visiting branches located in the Namhaean Tourism Belt region (Tongyeong, Sacheon, Geoje, Goseong, Namhae, Hadong, Changwon Masanhappo-gu and Jinhae-gu), but also through the BNK Kyongnam Bank mobile banking app.
Park Sangho, Executive Director of Customer Marketing Division, said, "We are pleased that BNK Kyongnam Bank is participating in bringing together local credit guarantee foundations and financial institutions to ensure the success of key projects promoted by local governments in both Yeong and Honam regions," and added, "We hope that the special funds provided under this agreement will become a valuable foundation of hope for small business owners in the Namhaean Tourism Belt area and provide them with the competitiveness to achieve sustainable growth."
Meanwhile, prior to this agreement, BNK Kyongnam Bank signed a "Gyeongsangnam-do Small Business Special Financial Support Mutual Prosperity Agreement" with Gyeongsangnam-do and others on the 3rd of last month.
Under the agreement, seven financial institutions including BNK Kyongnam Bank will make a special contribution totaling 16.4 billion KRW to the Gyeongnam Credit Guarantee Foundation to strengthen financial support for small business owners in the province.
