Yeongyang County Sports Association Conducts Community Love Donation Activities

Donation of Sponsorship Funds After Visit to Gyeongbuk-do Disabled Welfare Center Yeongyang Branch

The Yeongyang County Sports Association, which leads the way in promoting the health of county residents, visited the Yeongyang Branch of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled on May 16 and donated an amount worth 2.1 million KRW, collected as participation fees from the "Master of Putting" experience at the Yeongyang Wild Greens Festival, to low-income disabled individuals receiving care services.

The Yeongyang Wild Greens Festival, known as "the healthiest festival held in the most natural Yeongyang County," has firmly established itself as a representative festival of the Gyeongbuk region. From May 9 to 12, the festival was held for four days in the Yeongyang downtown area and the Ilwolsan Mountain area, featuring a variety of programs. Among them, the "Master of Putting" experience organized by the Yeongyang County Sports Association captivated visitors with its unique concept, continuing its popularity from last year.

Each year, the Yeongyang County Sports Association actively engages in sharing activities through volunteer work and donations for the local community, playing a central role in promoting healthy physical strength, a healthy mind, and a healthy lifestyle for county residents.

Park Jaeseo, president of the Yeongyang County Sports Association, said, "We will continue to realize the value of sharing through active social contribution activities and strive to become a sports association that coexists and grows together with the local community."

Choi Eunyoung, director of the branch, expressed gratitude to the Yeongyang County Sports Association for their interest and sharing for the local community, and asked for continued efforts to spread the culture of sharing and cooperation for the welfare of residents.
