Up to 5 People per Company, Total of 75 to Receive Partial Vacation Expense Support
Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Junseok) is accepting applications from participating companies for the "Busan Port Partner SME Employee Vacation Support Program" from the 16th to the 29th of this month.
This program provides partial financial support for costs incurred by BPA partner SMEs and their employees when participating in the Korea Tourism Organization's Employee Vacation Support Program.
Since 2020, BPA has implemented this program to foster a culture of flexible vacations and to support the domestic travel industry. Up to last year, the program supported 206 employees from 55 partner companies.
This year, continuing from last year, a total of 75 employees will be selected, with a maximum of 5 per company (up to 10 for SMEs with more than 100 employees).
Selected employees can use points worth up to 400,000 KRW to purchase domestic travel products, such as accommodation, transportation, and leisure items, for vacations taken until October 31 of this year.
BPA will cover 50% of the vacation points used by employees.
Eligible participants are SMEs and employees in Busan and Gyeongnam engaged in shipping, port, or logistics businesses, or those with records of using Busan Port (cargo, passenger, port facilities, etc.).
Interested companies can apply through the Sangsaengnuri website. For more details, please refer to the BPA website or contact the person in charge at the Industrial Innovation Department.
