"Reducing Ingredient Cost Burden"... Baemin Launches 2nd Price Stabilization Expedition Campaign

Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, announced that they will run the 2nd Price Stabilization Expedition campaign from the 16th to the 26th in collaboration with domestic food company CJ CheilJedang. They will sell major food ingredients used in restaurants at ultra-low prices and provide consulting and content on restaurant management know-how through Baemin Food Service Plaza.

This event was organized to help self-employed restaurant owners facing difficulties due to high inflation. Restaurant owners can reduce their burden on ingredient costs and receive know-how on store management through consulting and content filled with useful information.

Baemin, in cooperation with CJ CheilJedang, will sell over 70 types of ingredients, including the five major ingredients essential for most restaurants?sugar, cooking oil, salt, seasoning, and frying powder?at up to 30% discounted prices on Baemin Sanghoe. Additionally, processed foods such as bacon and sausages, which are used as side menus in restaurants, will be offered at affordable prices. Even small quantity purchases will be delivered free of charge.

Baemin Academy will also provide consulting programs on efficient use of ingredients and content on ingredient information and price trends. Recipe consulting using CJ CheilJedang’s Creait products will be conducted through face-to-face education and customized sessions. This training, which includes useful topics for restaurant owners such as side menu development and packaging education, will run for seven weeks starting June 4. Consulting held face-to-face at Baemin Academy Gyeonggi Center can be applied for until the 28th.

In addition, content summarizing information and price trends of the five major universal ingredients, such as "Most Sought-After Seasonings at Baemin Sanghoe" and "Types of Salt and Sugar Suitable for Each Menu," will be released on Baemin Food Service Plaza.

Previously, Baemin conducted the first Price Stabilization Expedition campaign from March to April. Major ingredients such as rice, garlic, and zucchini were sold at discounts of up to 46%, allowing over 6,000 restaurant owners to purchase ingredients at low prices for a month. In the case of rice, additional quantities were urgently secured and sold due to early depletion.

Kwon Yong-gyu, Head of the Business Growth Center at Woowa Brothers, said, "Through the first Price Stabilization Expedition, we confirmed the strong interest of many restaurant owners in affordable and good-quality ingredients. For this second event, we worked hard with CJ CheilJedang to provide only the essential ingredients used in restaurants at ultra-low prices."
