Gangseo-gu to Hold 'Jeongbi Project Academy' Starting from the 22nd

Advanced Course Enrollment Starts on the 27th of This Month on a First-Come, First-Served Basis

Gangseo-gu to Hold 'Jeongbi Project Academy' Starting from the 22nd View of Gangseo District Office.

Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) will hold the "Maintenance Project Academy with Redevelopment and Reconstruction Experts" starting from the 22nd of this month. This training is organized to invite experts to enhance understanding of housing maintenance projects and support smooth project implementation.


The training will be held a total of seven times every Wednesday evening at 7 PM from the 22nd of this month until July, in the main auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Gangseo Lifelong Learning Center. It is divided into a basic course for general residents (May 22, May 29, June 5) and an advanced course for project stakeholders (June 12, June 19, June 26, July 3).


The basic course will cover ▲ redevelopment, reconstruction, and aging planned cities ▲ urban public housing complex projects, small-scale housing maintenance projects (Moa Housing · Moa Town) ▲ and airport height restriction relaxations, and has recruited 100 residents interested in maintenance projects as students. Architects, directors from the Korea Real Estate Board, and senior aviation captains will serve as instructors to deliver content on various types of maintenance projects.


The advanced course for project stakeholders will cover ▲ the formation and operation of associations (promotion committees) ▲ project implementation plans ▲ appraisal and management disposition plans ▲ relocation, demolition, completion, and dissolution. Lawyers, appraisers, and certified public accountants will provide detailed explanations on project procedures and methods that project promoters are curious about.


The basic course was fully booked early, and applications for the advanced course can be made from the 27th of this month to June 7 through the Gangseo-gu Office website or by phone. Fifty participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.


Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, "This training was prepared to help understand maintenance projects, which can be confusing due to various project methods and procedures," and added, "We will do our best to ensure that redevelopment and reconstruction projects desired by residents proceed without any setbacks."
