Coway announced on the 14th that it has ranked first in the water purifier category for 16 consecutive years in the ‘2024 National Brand Competitiveness Index (NBCI)’ survey conducted by the Korea Productivity Center.
The NBCI comprehensively evaluates brand competitiveness by assessing brand awareness, image, loyalty, and other factors formed through a company’s marketing activities. In this survey, Coway received the highest score in the industry by securing high consumer satisfaction and brand value.
In particular, Coway’s Icon series received excellent evaluations. Since launching the first product, the ‘Icon Water Purifier,’ in October 2020, the series has surpassed cumulative sales of 1 million units.
The recently released ‘2024 Coway Icon Ice Water Purifier’ added user-customized functions to the existing ice-making performance. It is the first domestic ice water purifier to feature functions that allow users to control hot water temperature and dispensing volume as desired. The hot water temperature can be finely adjusted in 5-degree increments from warm water at 45 degrees to ultra-hot water at 100 degrees. The dispensing volume can also be freely set in 10ml increments. The ‘Coway Icon Water Purifier 2’ enhances kitchen space efficiency with its compact width of 18cm.
