Pyeongtaek City to Conduct 2024 Community Health Survey Until the End of July

The "Community Health Survey" has been conducted annually since 2008 with the purpose of producing basic data for calculating local government health statistics necessary for establishing regional health care plans and evaluating the performance of health projects.

During the survey period, a team of 10 investigators will visit selected sample households in person and conduct one-on-one interviews covering 172 health-related questions, including health behaviors of all household members. Prior to this, Pyeongtaek City sent related information booklets by mail to the selected sample households. Citizens who participate in the survey will be given a small token of appreciation.

A representative from the Pyeongtaek Public Health Center explained, "The survey results will be used to establish health policies tailored to regional characteristics and to improve citizens' health levels," adding, "Personal information required for the survey will be strictly protected in accordance with the Statistics Act."
