Hanseo University Signs RISE Business Agreement with Sunmoon University and Korea University of Technology and Education

Hanseo University signed a business agreement with Sunmoon University and Korea University of Technology and Education to promote the Regional Innovation System for Excellence (RISE).


According to Hanseo University on the 14th, the day before, Hanseo University held a business agreement ceremony to promote RISE. Attendees from Sunmoon University included President Moon Sung-je, Vice President Choi Chang-ha, and Director of Planning Kim Jong-hae; from Korea University of Technology and Education, President Yoo Gil-sang, Vice President Nam Byung-wook, and RIS Project Director Lee Kyu-man attended. From Hanseo University, President Ham Ki-seon, Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation Kim Hyun-sung, Director of Planning and Budget Park Chang-hae, and 22 others participated.

The three universities participating in the agreement ceremony agreed to actively cooperate to achieve the purpose of the agreement, including ▲joint participation in individual tasks and projects within the RISE framework ▲joint resolution of regional issues with metropolitan and local governments where each university is located ▲industry-academia joint technology development projects among local companies and support for enterprises.


President Ham Ki-seon of Hanseo University said, "I believe Seosan and Taean are places where Hanseo University’s role is very necessary," adding, "We will strive together with all faculty and staff to do what the university can do to build the regional ecosystem."
