Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Ikang) announced on the 14th that it signed a win-win business agreement for the 'Public-Private Cooperation Coupling Project' with Gwangju Mudeung Church (Senior Pastor Oh Yongseon).
The signing ceremony was held to support the independence of children in the region who are unable to develop their talents due to economic difficulties.
Through this agreement, Gwangju Mudeung Church decided to provide a sponsorship fund of 10 million KRW to support the independence of children who cannot develop their talents due to financial problems.
Senior Pastor Oh Yongseon said, "I am very honored to support the Public-Private Cooperation Coupling Project promoted by Seo-gu, and I sincerely ask for generous support for the future of children in difficult environments."
Seo-gu Mayor Kim Ikang said, "I sincerely thank Senior Pastor Oh Yongseon for his interest and support, and we will implement various welfare policies so that children and adolescents in the region can dream of the future."
Meanwhile, Seo-gu recently established 'Good City Seo-gu' as its new city brand and is discovering customized welfare projects tailored to the diverse needs of recipients according to age and welfare sectors as part of its good policy initiatives.
