The Corruption Investigation Office announces first recruitment notice of the year for '4 investigators'... Applications accepted until the 29th

The High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Agency (Gong-su-cheo) will begin recruiting investigators for the first time this year.


On the 14th, Gong-su-cheo announced plans to hire a total of four investigators, including two at grade 6 and two at grade 7. Through this recruitment, they aim to fill all 40 investigator positions.


The recruitment will be conducted through an open competitive career-based process. Investigators will perform duties as judicial police officers, investigating suspects, criminal facts, and evidence when there is a determination of probable cause regarding crimes involving high-ranking officials.


Applicants for Gong-su-cheo investigator positions must either hold a lawyer's license or have experience in investigation or research work, with practical experience of at least 7 years for grade 6 or 5 years for grade 7. The term of office for Gong-su-cheo investigators is 6 years, with the possibility of renewal. The mandatory retirement age is 60.


Applications will be accepted from the 20th to the 29th of this month. Candidates will be selected through document screening and interviews thereafter.


Gong-su-cheo stated, "We will conduct the recruitment through a fair and transparent open competitive career-based process to attract many outstanding and capable talents."
