The movie 'Handsome Guys' is set to be released on June 26, announced distributor NEW on the 14th.
The comedy film depicts the story that unfolds when two men, dreaming of country life, move into a new house and a secret sealed in the basement awakens. It stars actors Lee Sung-min and Lee Hee-joon, along with Gong Seung-yeon, Park Ji-hwan, and Lee Kyu-hyung.
Lee Sung-min plays Jaepil, a charming tough guy, and Lee Hee-joon plays Sang-gu, his constant companion. Ahead of the release, they raised anticipation by releasing a video of themselves dancing to Garlics' song "Jalsaenggyeotjana" ("You're Handsome"). The two actors are expected to shine as a delightful duo with irresistible charm in the film.
This is the debut work of rookie director Nam Dong-hyeop, produced by Hive Media Corp, the production company behind films such as 'Inside Men' (2015), 'The Man Standing Next' (2020), and 'Spring in Seoul' (2023).
