Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical announced on the 14th that it has launched ‘Power BQ Continue 800 Tablets,’ containing four types of active vitamins B1, B2, B6, and B12, as well as chondroitin, which helps joint health. This new product is a specialized version of the existing Power BQ Active Tablets (Vitamin B complex supplement) focused on joint health.
A representative from Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical stated, “Power BQ Continue 800 Tablets uniquely contain two types of active vitamin B1?Benfotiamine (50mg) and Bisbenethiamine (10mg)?among chondroitin products,” emphasizing, “It is an all-in-one chondroitin product that can simultaneously address joint health, physical fatigue, and nerve fatigue.”
They added, “The active vitamin B12, Methylcobalamin, is included at the maximum daily amount, and calcium and magnesium are contained at the industry’s highest levels in a 2:1 ratio, which will create a synergistic effect with chondroitin.”
‘Power BQ Continue 800’ contains 50mg of vitamin B1 (Benfotiamine), which affects energy metabolism, neuralgia, muscle pain, joint pain (including lower back pain and shoulder stiffness), and relief of eye fatigue. In particular, Benfotiamine, the representative component of vitamin B1, is an active form of vitamin that enhances thiamine absorption, showing 8 times higher bioavailability than regular thiamine and 4 times higher than Fursultiamine, resulting in faster effects even with a small intake.
It also includes four active vitamins?B2 (Riboflavin Butyrate), B6 (Pyridoxal Phosphate), and B12 (Methylcobalamin)?which help alleviate angular stomatitis (inflammation at the corners of the mouth), cheilitis (lip inflammation), and stomatitis (oral inflammation), as well as being effective for pain relief. Additionally, it contains vitamin D, which helps prevent poor tooth development and rickets.
Notably, each tablet of ‘Power BQ Continue 800’ contains 800mg of chondroitin, which supports the composition of joint cartilage. Chondroitin helps ▲increase cartilage synthesis ▲prevent cartilage degradation ▲relieve joint pain ▲reduce joint stiffness ▲and prevent osteoarthritis.
According to the standard pharmaceutical manufacturing guidelines, the maximum amount of chondroitin was 600mg in 2019, but the regulation was revised in 2021 to add a daily amount of 800mg for adults aged 19 and older.
‘Power BQ Continue 800 Tablets’ should be taken once daily, one tablet at a time, and as a general medicine, it is only available for purchase at pharmacies.
