Seoul Eunpyeong-gu (District Mayor Kim Mi-kyung) announced on the 14th that it is recruiting participants for the '2024 Second Half Public Job Project,' which is promoted as part of creating public jobs for low-income and employment-vulnerable groups, until the 22nd of this month.
The recruitment fields and number of positions are ▲ Seoul Companion Job Project with 11 fields and 229 people (such as climate environment vulnerable support alley environment maintenance project, digital vulnerable support project, traditional market parking guidance, school zone traffic safety guardians, etc.) ▲ Public Social Job Project with 8 fields and 99 people (office environment maintenance, office work assistance, etc.) ▲ Local Community Job Project with 4 fields and 14 people (Bulkwangcheon, Gupabalcheon environment maintenance, etc.), totaling 23 fields and 342 people.
The project period is from July 1 to December 20 this year, and eligibility requires applicants to be at least 18 years old with work ability, and Eunpyeong-gu residents whose household members, including cohabitants, have assets of 499 million KRW or less.
Additionally, for Seoul Companion Jobs and Public Social Jobs, residents with household income at or below 80% of the median income can apply, and for Local Community Jobs, residents with household income at or below 70% of the median income can apply. Selection will be based on the highest total weighted scores according to evaluation factors.
The wage is 9,860 KRW per hour, and 4 major insurances, weekly holiday allowance, monthly leave allowance, and transportation/snack expenses are supported. Those under 65 years old work 30 hours per week, and those 65 or older work 15 hours per week. Specific working hours for each project will be adjusted and operated according to the characteristics of each workplace.
Applicants must bring their ID, job seeker registration certificate (available at the Eunpyeong-gu Office 2nd floor Job Center), and documents proving eligibility for additional points, visit the resident registration address community service center, fill out the application form, and submit it.
