KG Mobility has appointed Executive Directors Hwang Gi-young and Park Jang-ho as new CEOs, transitioning to a three-person individual CEO system.

On the 13th, KG Mobility announced that it held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and a board meeting at its headquarters in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, appointing Hwang Gi-young, Head of Overseas Business Division (Executive Director), and Park Jang-ho, Head of Production Division (Executive Director), as new CEOs. Accordingly, KGM will shift to a three-person individual CEO system including Chairman Kwak Jae-sun.

The newly appointed CEO Hwang joined KGM last year. He played a key role in aggressively pioneering new markets in the overseas business sector, achieving the highest export performance in nine years last September. He will oversee the overall operations of the business division going forward.

The newly appointed CEO Park was previously responsible for overall production and labor affairs at Ssangyong Motor. He was recognized for his expertise in enhancing production efficiency, managing production quality, and establishing labor-management culture. He will be in charge of overall operations of the production division from now on.

A KGM official stated, "By appointing the heads of the Overseas Business Division and Production Division as CEOs, the company can enhance management efficiency and establish a responsible management system." He added, "We will continue to increase sales volume and grow as a sustainable company through expanding new product launches, aggressively pioneering new markets, and strengthening various marketing activities in domestic and overseas markets."
