Total Prize Money of 300 Million Won... Applications Accepted Until July 12
HD Hyundai 1% Sharing Foundation announced on the 13th that it is publicly recruiting candidates for the '2nd HD Hyundai Honor Award.'
The HD Hyundai Honor Award was established last year with the goal of discovering and supporting citizen heroes who dedicate themselves to marginalized neighbors and vulnerable groups, thereby spreading positive influence within our society.
The 2nd HD Hyundai Honor Award will present a total prize of 300 million KRW across four categories: Grand Prize, Best Award in the Group Category, Best Award in the Individual Category, and the 1% Sharing Award. Candidate applications will be accepted from today until July 12 on the foundation’s website.
The HD Hyundai 1% Sharing Foundation will conduct document screening, on-site investigations, and other verifications for the recommended candidates, and announce the winners in November after the final review. External experts and executives will participate in the evaluation process to ensure fairness and enhance the significance of the awards.
A representative of the HD Hyundai 1% Sharing Foundation stated, "We will widely publicize the achievements of citizen heroes who dedicate themselves in unseen places to contribute to creating a warmer society."
Meanwhile, the HD Hyundai 1% Sharing Foundation was established in 2011 when HD Hyundai Oilbank became the first major domestic company to pledge 1% of its employees’ salaries as donations. In 2020, the scope of salary sharing was expanded to include employees of all HD Hyundai affiliates, and support for marginalized neighbors in our society continues to grow.
