S-OIL held a donation ceremony on the 13th at its gas station in Yeomni-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, to support the 'Safe-On' campaign aimed at preventing secondary car accidents, announcing a total donation of 100 million KRW to the Korea Disabled Foundation.

To prevent secondary car accidents, which have a fatality rate seven times higher than general traffic accidents, S-OIL plans to purchase LED emergency warning panels that can be easily installed in car trunks and distribute them free of charge to a total of 1,000 disabled and general customers using its gas stations.

Additionally, through the Korea Disabled Foundation, S-OIL will purchase LED emergency warning panels made and sold directly by disabled individuals, contributing to traffic safety while supporting socially vulnerable groups through this sharing activity.

The Safe-On campaign, launched for the first time this year, is being piloted for customers at gas stations participating in the 'Fueling Assistance Service for the Vulnerable' in the metropolitan area and will be expanded nationwide in the future.

CEO Al Hizaji stated, "S-OIL will contribute to spreading a safe traffic culture and preventing traffic accidents to protect precious lives," adding, "We will continue to actively support social safety activities to protect citizens from various dangers."
