Visiting Residents Near the Venue to Personally Gift Chamoe
Another heartwarming story about singer Lim Young-woong has been revealed. He is known to have personally delivered Korean melons to local residents who were inconvenienced by the noise from his concert rehearsals.
On the 12th, an online community post titled "Lim Young-woong brought Korean melons to my house" caught attention.
The poster, Mr. A, said, "Even though Korean melons are expensive these days despite being in season, Lim Young-woong went around to each house apologizing for the noise and personally delivered the melons." He also shared a photo of a box of Korean melons he received as a gift from Lim Young-woong.
Lim Young-woong will hold his 2024 concert 'IM HERO-THE STADIUM' at Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 25th and 26th.
Mr. A praised, "Since Sangam is an outdoor venue, they do sound checks in advance. The area around Sangam is almost always filled with loud cheers and shouts, but this is the first time someone has apologized and handed out fruit like this. Lim Young-woong is truly a good person."
Earlier, on Parents' Day this year, Lim Young-woong donated 200 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea in the name of his fan club, 'Hero Era.' He requested that the donation be used to support low-income and vulnerable groups.
