The Hyusik (co-CEOs Shin Hyunwook and Kim Junha), which is bringing innovative changes to the small and medium-sized hotel market, announced on the 10th that it has surpassed 2.5 million cumulative visitors.
According to the company, with the recent rise of consumption trends among the MZ generation that emphasize personal tastes and leisure, they analyzed that incorporating emotional value beyond simple cost-effectiveness into the lodging industry has led to securing a broad customer base, including business clients, resulting in the achievement of 2.5 million cumulative visitors.
In particular, the hotel is attracting industry attention by proposing an innovative model called a "content hotel" through differentiated strategies such as providing various themed content in each room, creating spaces where customers can explore their personal hobbies and ways to relax.
In fact, each room offers themed content focused on diverse hobbies and relaxation methods from the customer's perspective, such as a movie room equipped with a beam projector and a dedicated recliner chair, a music room featuring high-end audio equipment and a personally curated LP collection, and a spa room with a luxurious ryokan concept that evokes the illusion of being on a trip to Japan, positioning the hotel as a place to "discover my own taste."
Additionally, for business customers, customized services such as stylers, massage chairs, office desks, and simple breakfast services are provided to create an environment optimized for business trips and work. Furthermore, to offer the utmost comfort, they use bedding developed in-house and maintain strict cleanliness in rooms and lobbies.
This innovative approach by The Hyusik has also been proven through business performance. While maintaining top rankings on major reservation platforms, as of May 2024, they have developed 60 content hotel assets nationwide, operate a total of 151 hotels, and boast a room occupancy rate exceeding 180%.
Kim Junha, CEO of The Hyusik, stated, "Our goal is to provide a customized lodging experience by focusing on each customer's hobbies and ways to relax," adding, "We will continue to contribute to improving the overall service quality of the lodging industry and to cultural creation."
