Police Investigating Specific Details of the Incident
An 11-month-old baby fell from the 24th floor of an apartment and died. The police have urgently arrested the baby's aunt on the spot and are investigating.
On the 10th, Daegu Dalseo Police Station announced that at around 6:35 p.m. on the 8th, an 11-month-old male baby fell from the 24th floor of an apartment in Dalseo-gu and died after landing on a flower bed.
It was reported that relatives of the deceased baby had gathered at the house to celebrate Parents' Day at the time of the incident. The police and fire authorities responded to a resident's report, but the child was already dead upon arrival at the scene.
The police have arrested a woman in her 40s, Ms. A, the baby's aunt, on suspicion of nephew murder and are investigating. They are also conducting a thorough investigation into the exact circumstances of the incident with the family members who were gathered at the house on the day of the incident.
