Gangnam-gu, Donates 10 Million Won for Vulnerable Children’s Walking Participation...

On the Occasion of Family Month, Over 40 Dream Start Children and Families Participate in Hecto Group's 'One-Day Ttubok Challenge' on the 11th

Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) will hold a walking event for children from vulnerable groups in collaboration with Hecto Group at Olympic Park at 9 a.m. on the 11th to celebrate Family Month.

Hecto Group has been continuously supporting Gangnam-gu Dream Start since 2020. Dream Start is a program that provides customized integrated services to children under 12 from vulnerable groups and their families to help them grow up healthily. This year, Hecto Group planned its regular employee walking event, the "One Day Ttubok Challenge," as an event where about 400 participants, including customers and vulnerable groups, walk together. About 40 children and families from Gangnam-gu Dream Start will participate in this event.

The children will walk with their families in the family playground at Olympic Park while completing various missions. Those who succeed in the challenge of walking a certain number of steps will receive gifts.

Hecto Group will donate a total of 10 million KRW to Gangnam-gu Dream Start in the names of the walking event participants.

Jo Seong-myeong, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, stated, "I hope that vulnerable families will create good memories through this meaningful event where they can walk in an urban park and donate at the same time," and added, "We will create a Gangnam that shares warmth with vulnerable groups by activating ESG projects in partnership with companies leading social contribution."
