Changwon National University Archery Team Wins 2 Medals in Season's First Competition... Aiming for 2 Consecutive National Sports Festival Titles

The archery team of National Changwon University won two medals at their first competition of the season.

According to the university, the Changwon University archery team participated in the 58th National Men and Women’s Archery Championships held from April 26 to May 4.

Jung Da-ye-na, a third-year student in the Department of Physical Education, scored 348 points in the women’s university division 60m event on the first day of the competition, winning a silver medal, and also earned a bronze medal in the women’s university individual all-around event.

The Changwon University archery team stated that they are training while balancing academics and sports with the goal of achieving a second consecutive victory in the women’s university team event at the 105th National Sports Festival to be held in Gimhae, Gyeongnam, this October.

The athletes said, “We hope for much encouragement and interest in our archery team, which is doing their best every day.”
