140 Million Won Per Night... Dubai Hotel Where Beyonc? Also Stayed

Atlantis The Royal on Dubai Artificial Island
Visited by Famous Stars... Renowned for Ultra-Luxury Suites

What would a luxury hotel facility costing about 137 million KRW per night be like? The US CNN broadcast has drawn attention by revealing the suite room of 'Atlantis The Royal' in Dubai, one of the 'Top 50 Hotels in the World.'

On the 8th (local time), the media described this hotel as "the only resort in the Middle East and one of the top luxury accommodations ranked among the world's 50 best hotels." Atlantis The Royal Hotel was built on the Palm Jumeirah artificial island in Dubai and consists of three hotel towers with 44 floors (791 rooms) and three residence towers with 39 floors (231 units).

The pinnacle of this hotel is undoubtedly the penthouse suite, with a nightly stay costing from $100,000 (about 137 million KRW) during peak season. The suite has also been the accommodation choice for American superstars Beyonc? and Jay-Z when performing in the Middle East.

Matching its high price, the interior and services reach the pinnacle of luxury. The private elevator entrance to the suite was crafted from a 100-year-old olive tree, and it includes a massive swimming pool, a library, a home theater, and a dining room.

The room service is beyond imagination. As soon as guests arrive at the airport, hotel staff carry their luggage, and guests can even summon designers from famous fashion companies to their suite to enjoy 'their own shopping.' A butler and bartender are on standby 24/7, and a chef is always ready to cook in the suite's private kitchen.

On the 22nd floor of the hotel is the infinity pool called 'Cloud 22.' This is a massive artificial swimming pool built in the middle of the desert, where guests can sunbathe or enjoy views of the artificial island. Additionally, there is a glass elevator with a giant artificial waterfall flowing down and an aquarium housing 7,200 marine animals.

Regarding this, Tom Rollens, the general manager of Atlantis Hotel, told CNN, "Ultimately, the important thing is service," emphasizing, "Whether guests know what they want or not, our effort is to create and provide it."

Atlantis The Royal opened last year. The hotel building also involved contributions from the Korean company Ssangyong Engineering & Construction. Ssangyong Engineering & Construction won the project jointly with the Belgian international construction company Besix and carried out the design work in collaboration with 14 countries and 54 consultants.
