The person filming the scene shouted, "Seungri, Big Bang Big Bang." Earlier, in January, Seungri hosted an event at a restaurant in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, and boasted about his friendship with G-Dragon by saying, "Someday, I will bring G-Dragon here." At that time, he was criticized by netizens for dancing to the Big Bang unit GD & Taeyang's "GOOD BOY."

Seungri debuted in 2006 as a member of the group Big Bang. In 2019, he was prosecuted on nine charges including prostitution related to the Burning Sun club scandal. He was convicted on charges including habitual gambling, violations of the Act on the Punishment of Acts of Arranging Sexual Traffic (prostitution, mediation of prostitution, filming using cameras), and the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes (embezzlement), receiving a prison sentence of 1 year and 6 months. After being released in February last year, Seungri was spotted overseas and at clubs. Despite having left Big Bang, Seungri has been using Big Bang's reputation abroad to perform at events after his release.

Netizens who saw this reacted with comments such as "Stop exploiting Big Bang," "Is he starting another business again," "With so many proven crimes, how is he already out singing Bang Bang Bang," "It makes me angry that someone like Seungri is making money," and "Is his head spinning like Bang Bang."
