Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will operate the 'I am Ground Self-Introduction Writing Special Lecture' twice on the 23rd and 30th for job-seeking youth who have difficulty writing self-introduction letters.
As part of Gwangsan-gu Cheongcheong Platform's youth employment and start-up support program 'Cheonggorae (Tomorrow to Worry Together with Youth)', the lectures will be held on the 4th floor of the Gwangsan-gu Advanced Comprehensive Social Welfare Center (160 Cheomdanjungang-ro).
The special lectures are composed of two sessions, basic and advanced, to help youth job seekers effectively prepare for the job market, as writing self-introduction letters tailored to the job has become more important in the recent situation where grades and language scores have become standardized.
The first lecture (basic session) is aimed at youth starting their job search and covers the basics of self-introduction letters, including how to write NCS (National Competency Standards)-based job competency items, laying the foundation for writing self-introduction letters.
The second lecture (advanced session) consists of a review process by employment experts to improve the completeness of the written self-introduction letters, and a time to answer expected interview questions based on the self-introduction letters.
The special lectures are open to anyone aged 19 to 39 who resides or is active in Gwangsan-gu. Each session will accept 30 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applications can be submitted by accessing the QR code on the related web poster and filling out the participation application form.
