Cheonan 12 Universities to Hold 'UnivCity Festival' on the 16th

Cheonan Sports Complex Oryungmun Plaza... Various Performances and Experience Events Prepared

Cheonan City in Chungnam Province will hold the "2024 Cheonan Univ City Festival" on the 16th at the Oryunmun Square area of Cheonan Sports Complex.

This festival was organized to promote "University City Cheonan," home to 12 universities, nationwide and to firmly establish the festival's identity. The name, which started last year as the "Cheonan City University Harmony Festival," has been changed to "Cheonan Univ City Festival."

All 12 local universities?Baekseok University, Dankook University, Namseoul University, Sangmyung University, Nazareth University, Kongju National University, Korea University of Technology and Education, Baekseok Culture University, Hoseo University, Yeonam University, Soonchunhyang University, and Sunmoon University?will participate. Various experiential events such as a university song contest, club competitions, school/department/club promotional booths, international student booths, experience zones, and food trucks will be held.

Additionally, celebratory performances by singers 10CM, QWER, and Woody will take place, followed by fireworks.

Mayor Park Sang-don said, "Through this Univ City Festival, we will promote Cheonan's proud 12 universities and firmly establish the image of Cheonan as a university city."
