Kumho Construction Wins 291.6 Billion KRW Contract for 'Cheongju Technopolis Apartment Project'

Kumho Construction announced on the 9th that it has won the contract for the ‘Cheongju Technopolis A8 Block Apartment Project’ worth 291.6 billion KRW.

The ‘Cheongju Technopolis A8 Block Apartment’ will be developed in Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju-si, Chungbuk, within the Cheongju Technopolis residential district, consisting of 17 buildings with 1,450 households, ranging from 3 basement floors to 35 above-ground floors. The construction cost is 291.6 billion KRW. Sales are scheduled for June this year.

‘Cheongju Technopolis’ is an industrial complex being developed in Gangseo 2-dong, Cheongju-si, Chungbuk. It is a self-sufficient city where eco-friendly industrial facilities, large-scale commercial distribution complexes, upscale residential areas, government offices, and schools are all established within the complex, enabling ‘proximity of residence and workplace.’ It is close to Chungju Airport, Jungbu Expressway, Gyeongbu Expressway, KTX Osong Station, as well as the metropolitan subway Bukcheongju Station. Additionally, major corporations such as SK Hynix and LG Household & Health Care are expected to establish facilities nearby.

Kumho Construction plans to apply its new residential brand ‘Atera’ to this project.

A Kumho Construction official stated, “As the first project to win a contract after the launch of Atera, we will present a refined residential space embodying Atera’s slogan, ‘The beauty that reflects your life.’ With sales scheduled for June, we will strive to attract significant interest from potential buyers.”
