When ordering food from ‘Good Price Restaurants’ on Baemin (Baedal Minjok), customers can receive discount benefits.

Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, announced on the 9th that they participated in the ‘Business Agreement Ceremony for the Activation of Good Price Restaurants’ held at the Government Seoul Office and signed a business agreement to support Good Price Restaurants.

This business agreement was signed together by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprises, six delivery platforms including Baemin, and three map platforms. Baemin and the participating companies agreed to support the activation of Good Price Restaurants and contribute to price stabilization through this effort.

Through this agreement, Baemin plans to provide customers with a 2,000 KRW discount coupon that can be used when ordering from Good Price Restaurants. They also plan to promote the restaurants to make them easier to find.

Good Price Restaurants are designated by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and local governments as establishments that offer reasonable prices, clean and hygienic environments, and friendly service, making customers want to return. This system has been in place since 2011, and as of March, 5,381 restaurants nationwide have been selected and are operating as Good Price Restaurants. Being selected as a Good Price Restaurant entitles the establishment to tax benefits such as reductions in water and sewage fees, as well as support with necessary supplies like garbage bags and kitchen detergents.

Ham Yoon-sik, Vice President and Head of Customer-Centered Management at Woowa Brothers, said, “We participated in this business agreement to provide some support to restaurant owners and customers struggling with high prices,” and added, “We will strive to encourage active customer use of Good Price Restaurants through this agreement.”
