SKT Opens Internal Portal 'AI One' to Enhance Employee AI Utilization

SKT announced on the 9th that it will open the internal portal 'AI One' for employees to utilize the Intelligence Platform. The Intelligence Platform provides an optimized solution for companies aiming to apply AI, integrating various AI models and related tools into a single interface to support companies in using them. AI One is an internal portal based on this platform, designed to enable SKT employees to easily leverage AI.

On the 30th of last month, SKT held a press briefing to unveil the 'Intelligence Platform,' a technology that allows efficient construction and development of generative AI applications (apps).

SKT employees involved in developing products and services can access various AI models and development tools such as SKT's 'A.X' Open AI's GPT and Anthropic's Claude all-in-one through AI One with just simple service requests, and apply them to their services. SKT expects to accelerate its AI transformation (AIX) by expanding the application services of the Intelligence Platform through AI One and securing various use cases.

In fact, SKT's AI personal assistant service A. (A-dot) is currently providing services using AI One. Additionally, SKT anticipates efficiently introducing AI functions into internal and external services such as AI assistants supporting customer center agents, AI tools used by employees, and services like T World and T Membership.

After securing internal use cases through AI One, SKT plans to continuously expand collaboration with SK affiliates including the ICT family and global telecom companies.

Even after the service launch, SKT plans to provide additional foundational technologies and tools necessary for AI application, such as large language model (LLM) playgrounds, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation, to create an easy and fast AI application environment.

Jung Min-young, head of the AI platform, said, "With the launch of AI One, we will apply AI technology more rapidly within the company and strengthen collaboration with the ICT family and global telecom partners to accelerate the transition into an AI company."
