Busan City Recruiting Young Entrepreneurs to Drive Innovation in Social Economy

Busan Young Entrepreneurs and Small Business Owners Hoping to Transition to Social Economy Enterprises

Busan City is recruiting candidates to participate in the "Busan-type Youth Social Economy Enterprise Seed Fund Support Project" until the 27th.

This project was prepared to discover and nurture innovative and dynamic young entrepreneurs and small business owners who wish to transition into social economy enterprises.


If selected as a participant, benefits such as ▲up to 2 million KRW for business model development costs ▲assignment of a dedicated mentor and consultation (consulting) support (worth up to 1 million KRW) ▲education through the Social Economy Value Coexistence Academy will be provided to support the transition to social economy enterprises.


Through this, if the transition to a social economy enterprise is successful, additional benefits such as phased customized support will be provided over the next two years.


The recruitment target is young entrepreneurs or small business owners aged 39 or younger, located in Busan, with less than 7 years of business experience, who wish to transition to social economy enterprises. Local value creators (Local Creators), sharing economy entrepreneurs, and others are also eligible.


Applications must be submitted by 1 PM on the 27th by downloading the application form posted on the Social Economy Support Center website, filling it out, and submitting it via email along with the required documents.


Final participants will be selected through document screening and face-to-face presentations.


Shin Chang-ho, Director of the Digital Economy Innovation Office of Busan City, stated, "Our city will continue to discover and nurture young social economy entrepreneurs who are deeply interested in solving local community issues to bring waves of innovation to Busan's social economy," adding, "Through this project and others, we will spread a warm community culture in Busan."
