50,000 Visitors and Colorful Tent Village During Children's Day Holiday... LetsRunPark Busan-Gyeongnam's 'Blooming Festival' a Huge Hit

Over 50,000 people flocked to LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam during the two-day Children's Day holiday to enjoy the 'Children's Festival.'


Korea Racing Authority LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam (Director Um Young-seok) announced on the 9th that more than 50,000 children and families participated in the 'Blooming Children's Day Festival' held to celebrate the 102nd Children's Day.


The festival, held over two days on the 4th and 5th, offered a rich variety of programs, sights, and activities. On the first day of the holiday, the 4th, the early summer weather made the plaza's ground fountain water play extremely popular. Families who arrived early in the morning to 'open run' set up tents to avoid the sun, turning the park into a colorful mosaic.

The amusement zone starting from the park entrance featured attractions such as air bounces, Viking rides, trains, and carousel swings, creating an amusement park atmosphere. Along Derby Square, 35 experience booths lined up offering various programs to foster children's imagination and creativity. Children eagerly lined up to enjoy activities ranging from pottery wheel experiences to sports experiences using VR devices.


Diverse and dazzling performances such as children's magic shows, K-pop cheerleading, hand puppet shows, bubble shows, and Golden Bell quizzes captivated the audience. The participatory performance 'Random Place' drew enthusiastic responses from children and families. Despite the rainy and gloomy weather on the 5th, children wearing raincoats performed lively group dances, creating joyful scenes.


A family from Yangsan said, "Compared to the affordable admission fee, the park is spacious and well-equipped with convenience facilities. We were able to bring personal tents, scooters, and food, and with the variety of play programs, we had a great time with our children," smiling.


Um Young-seok, director of LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam, who prepared this festival, said, "In celebration of May, the month of family, we plan to continue offering diverse sights and programs, and we hope many families will create lasting memories together at LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam."
