CUBox, an AI video recognition specialist company, announced on the 9th that it signed an 1.1 billion KRW contract on the 7th of this month with Kangwon Land for the 'Casino Smart Entry System Construction Project.'
The smart entry system introduced by Kangwon Land aims to transform the existing complex and manpower-intensive face-to-face entry and exit process into a one-stop, non-face-to-face system by integrating the latest technologies, including AI video recognition. Accordingly, Kangwon Land expects to enhance operational efficiency through optimized customer flow, and casino customers will benefit from simplified procedures for identity verification during each entry and exit, making the process more convenient.
A CUBox official stated, "By integrating world-class AI video recognition technology, errors that occur when staff manually verify identities at casino entry can be reduced," adding, "The time required for customer identity verification will be significantly shortened, greatly improving both casino operational efficiency and customer convenience."
Recently, the adoption of the latest AI technologies has been spreading in domestic and international hotels, resorts, and casinos. CUBox expects that this contract will further accelerate its active overseas market expansion efforts, including in the United Arab Emirates.
