Busan Gijang-gun to Host 'Inmun Gonggam Academy' May Lecture Series

Busan Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jong-bok) will hold a lecture for the ‘Gijang Humanities Empathy Academy’ at 7 p.m. on the 16th at the Sodubang Children's Theater in Jeonggwan Library.

This lecture is an invited talk by Dr. Lim Yong-han (historian), famous as a war history author, under the theme ‘The Secret of History: Successful Groups and Failed Groups.’

Lim Yong-han, director of the Korean Historical Classics Research Institute, has authored books such as ▲ Ancient Korean War History Volumes 1-3 ▲ Reformers of the Era ▲ The World’s Strategies Were Born from War ▲ Great Commanders: They Only Fight to Win, and has actively participated in broadcasts including ▲ KBS History Special ▲ JTBC Different Class ▲ YTN News Mentory ‘War and People’ ▲ YouTube ‘Lim Yong-han TV.’

The lecture is free and open to all Gijang residents, and those who wish to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis through the Gijang-gun Lifelong Learning website.

A county official said, “We hope this will be a valuable opportunity for residents to gain wisdom for living today through the study of past history,” and added, “We look forward to the interest and participation of many residents.”
