First Sale Complex in Suncheon Pungdeok District

GS Construction will launch its first Xi apartment in Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, named 'Suncheon Grand Park Xi,' for sale in June.
On the 8th, GS Construction announced that it plans to sell 'Suncheon Grand Park Xi' in Block 2 of the Suncheon Pungdeok District Urban Development Project, located at 327-3 Pungdeok-dong, Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do.
Suncheon Grand Park Xi will be built with 9 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 29 above-ground floors, comprising a total of 997 households with exclusive areas ranging from 84 to 206㎡. The number of households by type is ▲84㎡A 445 units ▲84㎡B 136 units ▲102㎡ 86 units ▲110㎡ 106 units ▲115㎡ 58 units ▲130㎡A 110 units ▲130㎡B 54 units ▲206㎡ 2 units. It consists mainly of medium to large-sized units.
Near Suncheon Grand Park Xi is the Suncheonman National Garden, allowing residents to enjoy the garden as if it were their own front yard. The Suncheonman National Garden, Korea's first national garden, spans 926,992㎡ (approximately 280,000 pyeong), about twice the size of Seoul Forest. It borders the Suncheon Stream and is a renowned spot featuring gardens from various countries, themed gardens, and lakes, where families can experience diverse cultural events. The Ocheon Green Plaza, the core of Suncheon’s plaza culture connected to Suncheonman National Garden, is also located right in front of the complex for easy access.
Suncheon Grand Park Xi is the first sale complex marking the full-scale development of the Suncheon Pungdeok District. The district will be equipped with infrastructure such as planned single-family housing sites and commercial facilities.
Several convenience facilities representing Suncheon are located nearby. KTX and SRT Suncheon Station are about a 10-minute drive away. Suncheon IC and Dong Suncheon IC are adjacent, providing a well-established wide-area transportation network. Located in the southern part of Suncheon, it is also easy to access National Route 2 and National Route 17, making travel to Gwangyang and Yeosu convenient.
The surrounding convenience facilities are solid. Homeplus, E-Mart, and Megabox are within walking distance. Pungdeok Elementary and Pungdeok Middle Schools are accessible on foot, and the academy district is conveniently reachable. Palma National Sports Center and Palma Stadium, where various cultural and sports activities can be enjoyed, are also nearby.
Suncheon Grand Park Xi maximizes natural light by arranging all households in a south-facing, 4-bay structure. The distance between buildings is up to 130 meters, protecting residents’ privacy and securing an open view. Each type is designed with features such as pantries and dressing rooms to efficiently use indoor space. Additionally, the two 206㎡ units will be presented as penthouses on the top floor.
The community center within the complex, 'Club Xi-an,' will feature Suncheon’s first sky lounge, offering panoramic views of Suncheonman National Garden. Club Xi-an will include a small library providing Kyobo Bookstore’s book curation service, a GDR golf practice range, sauna, fitness club, cafeteria, and an open coffee station (OCS) with a lounge.
A GS Construction sales official said, "There is high interest from buyers who have been waiting for an apartment complex near Suncheonman National Garden even before the sale. We will do our best to create a high-quality apartment by applying specialized designs and systems to enhance residents’ satisfaction and providing diverse community facilities."
The Suncheon Grand Park Xi model house is scheduled to open in June, and move-in is expected in the first half of 2027.
