Gochang-gun Opens Public Recruitment for 'Resident Participation Budget Committee Members' Until the 24th

Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 8th that it will publicly recruit the 4th term of the Resident Participation Budget Committee members until the 24th.

This recruitment was promoted to collect residents' opinions throughout the entire budget formulation process and to support the efficient operation of the resident participation budget system.

The number of recruits is up to 60 people, who will be active for two years from July to June 30, 2026.

Applicants must either reside in the county as of the announcement date or work at an institution located in the county. Final selection will be made comprehensively considering gender balance and whether the applicant belongs to socially disadvantaged groups.

The committee members will be assigned to one of the four subcommittees (Balanced Development, Rural Vitality, Culture and Tourism, Welfare and Environment) and, after appointment, will review and select resident participation budget proposal projects and monitor ongoing participation budget projects.

Those who wish to apply should refer to the announcement section on the Gochang-gun website, fill out the application form, and submit it by visiting (Planning and Budget Office at the county office), mail, or email.
