KG New Model Torres Released... Price Increase Up to 550,000 Won

KG Mobility announced on the 8th that it has launched the new Torres.

It is a partial facelift after about two years since its release in July 2022, adding popular specifications and significantly changing the interior layout. Starting from the base model T5, a 12.3-inch panoramic display has been applied to provide driving information more intuitively. The center console has been changed to a floating type that appears to be suspended in the air, increasing storage space.

The electronic shift system has been changed to a toggle switch type, and USB Type-C ports (two each in front and rear) have been added. The driver drowsiness warning system has also been improved. The high-end trim T7 comes standard with a digital key, front passenger walk-in device, hanger-type headrests, wireless phone charging, and intelligent speed limit assist. A 3D around-view monitoring system is also available as an option.

The T7 model offers a customizable off-road package. Specifications include 18-inch all-terrain tires, inch-up springs, arch and door garnish, and red aluminum caliper covers. There is also a Black Edition with different colors for the wheels and C-pillar garnish. Latte Greige, which is popular on the Torres electric vehicle, has been added as an exterior color option.

There are also a 2-seater van model, which is a small cargo vehicle, and a liquefied petroleum gas dual-fuel (Bi-Fuel LPG) derivative model. The Bi-Fuel LPG can travel over 1000 km on a single refuel/charge. The van model offers a maximum cargo space of 1462 liters and can carry up to 300 kg of cargo.

The T5 is priced at 28.38 million KRW, the T7 at 32.29 million KRW, and the Black Edition at 35.5 million KRW, with price increases of 410,000 to 550,000 KRW depending on the model. The Bi-Fuel LPG versions are priced at 31.68 million KRW for the TL5 and 35.59 million KRW for the TL7. The van models TV5 and TV7 are priced at 26.66 million KRW and 30.42 million KRW, respectively.
