Chairman Bae Byeong-il of the Bae Byeong-il Scholarship Foundation: "We Will Do Our Best to Practice ESG Management"... 15th Anniversary Ethics and Human Rights Management Declaration Ceremony

On the 7th, the Korea Student Aid Foundation celebrated its 15th anniversary by holding a declaration ceremony for ethics and human rights management, followed by environmental protection activities to practice ESG management in the Dong-gu area of Daegu City.


Through the ‘15th Anniversary Ethics and Human Rights Management Declaration’ on this day, the chairman and employees of the Korea Student Aid Foundation made a firm commitment to practicing ethical management. The declaration included human rights protection, prohibition of power harassment and unfair orders, prevention of conflicts of interest, and strengthening protection for whistleblowers reporting corruption and public interest violations.

Chairman Bae Byeong-il of the Korea Student Aid Foundation said, “Our foundation will establish itself as the best ethical and transparent public institution through the practice of ethics and human rights management.”


In the afternoon event, Chairman Bae Byeong-il, Labor Union Chairman Hwang Su-hwan, and 270 employees participated in plogging activities, walking around the nearby Dong-gu area of Daegu City and picking up trash.


Additionally, during the foundation’s anniversary week in May, the Korea Student Aid Foundation plans to support vulnerable groups in the Dong-gu area of Daegu and other regions with a donation of 5 million won through the ‘Let’s Walk Together’ campaign using the social contribution platform (FOAV App). To address educational welfare blind spots in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions and promote regional coexistence, the foundation plans to carry out various social contribution activities such as supporting cultural experience activities for children and youth using welfare facilities, growth support for youth preparing for independence, educational support for children with pediatric cancer, meal support for vulnerable groups in the region, and a blood donation campaign of love.


Chairman Bae Byeong-il said, “As a representative public institution relocated to the region, I express my gratitude that the Korea Student Aid Foundation’s labor and management grow and breathe together with the community. Through this anniversary event, we had a meaningful opportunity to coexist with the local community,” and added, “We will continue to do our best in diverse and sustainable ESG management and ethical management together with labor and management.”
