Gaon Group, a total AI solution specialist company, announced on the 7th that its subsidiaries Gaon Broadband and K-Future Tech have obtained the international standard certification for Business Continuity Management System (BCMS), ‘ISO 22301’.
ISO 22301 is a certification system that evaluates whether a company has the capability to quickly respond to emergencies such as various disasters and crises, restore core functions, and normalize business operations.
According to the industry, many companies recently require their partners to obtain ISO 22301 certification to minimize risks arising from global geopolitical issues and secure a stable supply chain.
Gaon Group and its major subsidiaries, with an export ratio of 70%, have strengthened their competitiveness and secured the trust of global clients through this certification acquisition.
A company representative stated, “We successfully obtained the certification by thoroughly establishing systems such as business manuals and response plans for various emergency situations and having our management capabilities recognized. Since obtaining international certification for management systems also serves as credibility for ESG management capabilities, we plan to continuously advance our internal systems in the future.”
Gaon Group, which has internalized ESG management early to compete with major players in the global market, manages and holds a total of six international standard certifications related to management systems, including △ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) △ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) △ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System), in addition to the certification recently acquired.
