[Click eStock] "SL Benefits from Hyundai Motor Group's Expanded Production in the US and India"

Daishin Securities forecasted on the 7th that SL, a mid-sized company producing automotive parts such as lamps and chassis, will continue its performance growth this year. They anticipated benefits from the expansion of production by major clients Hyundai and Kia in the US and India.

Kim Gui-yeon, a researcher at Daishin Securities, stated in a report on the same day, "SL's major clients, Hyundai and Kia, are showing a low single-digit increase in production volume, and with existing orders and European SUV lamp volumes being reflected, the growth attractiveness within the auto parts sector will continue. We can also expect profitability improvement effects due to the volume expansion."

Researcher Kim predicted, "SL is also likely to benefit from the recovery of Hyundai and Kia's sales in India this year." He analyzed, "Hyundai and Kia plan to launch six and three new models respectively this year. SL's order target for this year has been raised to 1.4 trillion KRW from last year's target of 1.3 trillion KRW, and the cumulative achievement rate until February has reached 19%."

He added, "SL has production subsidiaries in the US and India, so it can expect benefits from Hyundai Motor Group's North American metaplant and the planned expansion in India next year."
