Oheim & Company Lady Furniture Launches 'Kidi Storage Series' with Child Safety Certification

Ladygagu, operated by Oheim & Company, announced on the 7th the launch of the ‘Kiddy Storage Series,’ children's furniture that has obtained the KC certification mark (Korea Certification Mark).

The KC certification mark acquired by the Kiddy Storage Series is the result of passing all 14 rigorous tests that meet children's safety standards, highlighting the prioritization of safety since the furniture is used by children. The use of eco-friendly materials with an E0 grade is standard, and no harmful substances such as formaldehyde, lead, or cadmium, which are classified as harmful to the human body, were detected. Certification was also completed for physical safety of the entire module and anti-tip features for the 5-drawer chest.

Additionally, to ensure safe use by children, locking devices were installed on the rails of the basket storage units, and guards were created on the upper corners of the storage units to prevent items from falling. This guarantees safety while allowing children to use the furniture comfortably and reduces the risk of children being startled or injured by falling displayed items.

The Kiddy Storage Series is available in a total of 13 different modules (3 types of wardrobes, 4 types of basket storage units, 4 types of bookshelves, and 2 types of dressing tables with mirrors), offering a wide range of choices. It can be appropriately configured according to the space layout, child’s preferences, and amount of items, creating an environment where children can organize by themselves. Optional additions include system shelves, stools, backrest chairs, and StudyOn LED lights. In particular, the system shelves allow wardrobes and bookshelves to be combined into a single piece of furniture, making efficient use of limited space.

Storage capacity has also been enhanced. Compared to other companies, the units are made deeper and taller, allowing ample storage for bulky toys, children’s clothes, and childcare items.

The LPM surface finish, which is resistant to stains and scratches, makes it easy to clean even if children scribble or spill drinks, facilitating maintenance. Additionally, the round handles made from eco-friendly solid wood have a diameter of 3.8 cm, perfectly fitting children’s hand sizes for safe and convenient use.
