Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will accept applications for the solar-powered rechargeable battery cover distribution project for agricultural machinery from the 3rd to the 17th.
This project was initiated to prevent the decline in battery charging efficiency caused by natural battery discharge due to long-term non-use of agricultural machinery. The county supports 80% of the purchase cost (80,000 KRW), and farmers bear 20% (20,000 KRW) of the cost.
The total support budget is 4 million KRW, and it is expected to benefit a total of 50 households, with 80,000 KRW per household. Priority benefits will be given to women farmers and elderly farmers aged 65 and over upon selection.
The project will select beneficiaries through applications and later announce a separate recruitment for subsidy recipients among local agricultural organizations (corporations), allowing these organizations to collectively promote the distribution project.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the nearest eup/myeon office during the application period, filling out the form, and submitting it. For other inquiries, contact the Agricultural Machinery Team at the Agricultural Technology Center.
County Governor Son Byeong-bok stated, "We will continue to do our best to promote mechanization of farms and improve the agricultural environment."
