An active police officer is under investigation by the police amid allegations that he participated in the destruction of evidence related to the sexual assault committed by Jeong Myeong-seok (78, detained), the president of the Christian Gospel Mission (JMS).
According to the police on the 3rd, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency has launched an audit on Sergeant A, a team leader at the Seocho Police Station.

It is reported that Sergeant A is currently on leave and not reporting to work.
