Japanese Media: "Korea-China-Japan Summit Likely to Be Held in Seoul on the 26th-27th"

The South Korea-China-Japan summit has not been held since the Chengdu meeting in December 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This marks the resumption of the trilateral summit after four years.

JNN reported that South Korea and Japan are expected to call on China to play a role regarding North Korea, which is increasing its threat level through nuclear and missile development. However, it also noted that China appears to have intentions to undermine the security cooperation among South Korea, the United States, and Japan.
