Men's College Division Overall Runner-up
The canoe team of National Changwon University won several gold, silver, and bronze medals at the 15th National Canoe Competition, securing the overall runner-up position in the men's college division.
The Changwon University canoe team started the competition on April 24th at the Han River Misari Canoe Stadium by winning the team 4-person 200m event on the first day, marking the beginning of their medal hunt.

All athletes succeeded in winning medals in their respective events, earning 2 gold medals in the kayak team events, 2 gold medals in individual events, 4 silver medals in individual canoe events, and 2 bronze medals.
Freshmen Cha Ji-han, a first-year student in the Department of Physical Education, and second-year student Lee Do-hyung demonstrated their skills, showing potential for growth.
Coach Baek Seung-yeop said, “Although there were evaluations that the team’s strength had somewhat weakened after the graduation of the team ace, the athletes finished the season’s first start with good results,” adding, “I applaud the athletes’ efforts and will do my best to support continuous growth.”
