Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said, "European leaders are raising concerns that deeper involvement in the Ukraine conflict could trigger another world war," according to Russia's TASS news agency on the 3rd.
According to the report, Prime Minister Orban appeared on his country's morning radio talk show that day and stated, "Europe is playing with fire. European leaders may not want to march toward war, but every day they are taking more steps in that direction."
He emphasized, "We did not want to participate in World War I or World War II," and "We will not allow Hungarians to be drawn into World War III."
Prime Minister Orban also commented on President Emmanuel Macron's proposal to send troops to Ukraine, saying, "This reveals their true intentions," and added, "We are balancing between war and peace crises."
