Place Camp Launches Beautiful Seongsan Ilchulbong Package

Place Camp Jeju, operated by Phoenix Hotel & Resort, announced the launch of the 'Beautiful Seongsan Ilchulbong' package, which includes an upgraded Seongsan Ilchulbong view room, a choice of various activity programs, and access to baked goods & coffee at Cafe Dorel and draft beer at Pub Spinning Wolf within the complex. Guests can select one activity from a variety of programs such as 'Morning Oreum,' 'Jeju Independent Bookstore Tour,' and 'Nighttime Illuminated Walk.' Upon check-in, a free upgrade to a Seongsan Ilchulbong view room is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Since it is operated by Phoenix Hotel & Resort, guests can also enjoy services provided to Phoenix Island Jeju visitors. These include free use of a shuttle bus running twice daily between Jeju Airport and Place Camp, a 10% discount at ten F&B outlets located about a 5-minute drive away at Phoenix Island Jeju, a 50% discount on admission to the Yumin Art Nouveau Museum, and free use of the year-round heated pool. The price for the Place Camp Beautiful Seongsan Ilchulbong package starts at 80,000 KRW. The offer is valid until July 11.

Legoland Korea Resort announced that it provided gifts and a visiting magic show to 150 inpatient and outpatient children at Gangwon National University Children's Hospital in celebration of Children's Day. One of Legoland's main shows, 'Secret Magician,' featured a magician performing fascinating magic tricks. Afterwards, the popular mascot 'Jester' appeared to take photos with the children and distribute Lego gifts and candies. In the neonatal intensive care unit, Legoland blankets and surprise gifts were delivered.



Norangpungseon Participates in the 39th Seoul International Tourism Fair

Norangpungseon announced its participation in the '39th Seoul International Tourism Fair,' held from the 9th to the 12th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The event features over 400 organizations and companies from about 40 countries, including domestic and international local governments, hotels, travel agencies, and airlines. Under the theme 'Taste the Gourmet Travel,' various programs are prepared for visitors to participate in directly, such as lectures by travel creators, talk concerts, overseas performance groups, pop-up stores, and themed booths. Norangpungseon will operate the largest booth among participating travel agencies to promote its brand and provide on-site consultation and sales of travel products worldwide. Customers who make reservations at the tourism fair will receive discounts (up to 300,000 KRW), exemption from electronic visa issuance fees, waiver of driver & guide expenses, and regional perks (snack and fruit baskets, wine, etc.). Additionally, duty-free coupon packs worth a total of 230,000 KRW and Norangpungseon points (up to 30,000 points, limited to those booking products departing by October 2024) will be provided.

Grand Korea Leisure (GKL) announced the launch ceremony of the 'GKL National Participation Group (GKL Eyes+).' Now in its sixth term, the GKL National Participation Group has been operating since 2019 as a body to collect diverse perspectives and opinions from the public to reflect in institutional innovation efforts. The term lasts one year after appointment, and activities include ▲ communication efforts such as voting, surveys, promotion, and monitoring via social media (SNS) ▲ public planning activities such as planning institutional projects and selecting best practices. Among the 50 members, nine with outstanding performance will receive commendations and prize money. Kim Hyun-gi, Head of GKL Management Headquarters, stated, "Through the National Participation Group, we will gather fresh ideas and reflect the diverse voices of the public in organizational innovation policies to become a public enterprise loved and trusted by the people."
